Set amongst scenes of wandering and time spent together, the artwork celebrates the everyday moments that make up Dandenong. Families gather, older residents wander and young people catch up, creating a reflection of the diverse community that shares these spaces. The artwork invites everyone to see a part of themselves within the scenes and find familiarity in the characters and moments.

Warm tones throughout the artwork evoke the feeling of afternoon sunlight across the scene, creating a warm and serene atmosphere. Key themes for the mural were identified in a series of workshops held at the local school, market and library, inviting local residents to be involved in the project.
